In response to concern about Israel/Palestine, Linda Frank will be speaking this coming Friday,
January 23, at 7:00 p.m. at King's Books, 218 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma, WA 98402. Her subject is "Gaza:

presentation of this subject will be January 27, at 5:30
p.m. at the University of Puget Sound at the Wheelock Student Center

attempt to answer the following: The ceasefire: Who
broke it? What do Palestinians really want? What
do the Israelis really want? What is America's role in the
conflict? How does Gaza fit into the larger Israeli/Palestine
conflict? Is there still an Arab-Israeli conflict? How and why
Israel helped to bring Hamas to power. The Gaza siege. The
news about Hamas that isn't in the news. The missing
pieces of the missing peace. What you can do to bring
security to all parties. Linda Frank is a native New Yorker,
